Today marked the one month anniversary of our life in Portugal. We spent the weekend exploring a new (to us) beach called Praia dasMacas and hiking near Sintra.
John and I spent time in Sintra and Lisbon a fews years ago on a trip to Portugal. Loved Sintra and the Castle of the Moors! I bought some really great pottery in Sintra. We also enjoyed Evora (an old university town) and the Algarve. Looks like you are having a good time. Enjoy the teaching! Bev Bandstra
I just caught up with your blog site. Great photos of a great adventure.
We really look forward to our visit. We'll bring some Beach Boys surfing recordings.
Keep up with your Portuguese phrase lessons. The three most important questions to learn: "How much does it cost?"; "Where are the restrooms?"; and, "Do you actually eat this?" Ed
nice ruins......looks like you're making friends, too.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of El Morro and old Spanish forts i saw as a kid in Puerto Rico.
ReplyDeleteAND you're getting really tan. As if I wasn't jealous enough.
