These beautiful beans were one of our first market purchases. Most likely, they are runner beans, they tasted pretty good!

We enjoyed dinner at the Estoril artisan's fair with some other teachers.
Praia da Ribeira is the beach closest to our house. It is where local fishermen dock their boats each evening. For the past ten days, booths and food carts have been set up for the annual Festas do Mar - Festival of the Sea. The festival includes nightly concerts.
Festival of the Sea, Artisans fair and beautiful runner beans! Looks quite appealing and guess I will just have to check it all out for myself.
